Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of TipTap Games (tiptapgames.com), operated by Quads Lab LLC. By accessing or using the service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

TipTap Games is a platform for discovering and playing HTML5 games submitted by creators. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with or without notice.

2. Accounts

• You may use the service as a guest or by signing in with a Discord, GitHub or Google account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (16 in the European Economic Area, where a higher age of digital consent applies). You do not need an account to play — the entire feed is open to anyone, and no age requirement applies to simply playing games. We ask for your date of birth once, before an account is created, and we do not keep it.
• If you tell us you are below the minimum age, we will not create an account, and we stop keeping any lasting identifier for that browser. You can carry on playing; we simply will not remember you between visits. See the Privacy Policy.
• If we learn that an account belongs to someone below the applicable minimum age, we will close it and delete the personal information associated with it.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not share your account credentials or use another person's account without permission.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Creator Content

• By uploading a game you confirm that you own or have the right to distribute the content.
• You grant Quads Lab LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your submitted game on the platform.
• You retain ownership of your original content. This license ends when you remove your content from the platform.
• All submitted content must comply with our Content Policy. Content that violates the policy will be removed.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent sandboxing, content moderation, or security measures
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the platform
• Submit games designed to harm, deceive, or exploit other users
• Impersonate Quads Lab LLC, its employees, or other users
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

The TipTap Games platform, branding, and all non-user-submitted content are owned by Quads Lab LLC. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. User-submitted games run in a sandboxed environment, but we make no guarantee of complete isolation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Quads Lab LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim (if any).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quads Lab LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your submitted content, or your violation of these terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States applicable to Quads Lab LLC. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
